PrintPack 2019: Komori to demonstrate GL437 and Enthrone 429

Komori has installed over 55 Komori GL437 machines in India. Among them, top Indian users are Polycam, First Impression, MM Printers, Royal Printers, and GM Offset.

Sangam Khanna, director of Komori India, said, “The GL 437+C is a high value-added print machine with sustainable colour management that helps reduce the cost of production for the printers. It is easy to operate and features low wastage printing machine with a cost of ownership. This machine is customised for better working conditions keeping in mind the space, power requirement, ease of operations, flexibility to perform low and high run lengths without compromising on the quality.”

The GL437+C refers that the press is capable of printing 37 inches in width with maximum sheet size 640x940mm and accommodates the simultaneous printing of a colour bar with 8-up A4 or American letter size impositions. Standard print speed the machine can achieve is up to 15,000 sph.

This press comes can be configured for two to eight colours with anilox coater, IR hot air, and options to choose perfecting mechanism, print density control systems, PQA, Komori OEM UV, HUV and LED drying systems.

Talking about his outlook of the Indian print industry, Khanna, said, “2018 was a great year to look back upon from the sales perspective. Komori opened its subsidiary in India as Komori India. It was a great transition and laid the root of success in India. Komori has acquired 52% market share in India, which itself speaks about the success,” concluded Khanna.

Till date, Komori has sold over 375 machines in India.
