PrintWeek India Awards 2018: Pragati Offset is the Social Stationery Printer of the Year
The Hyderabad-based firm picked up the trophy during the 10th edition of the Awards held in Mumbai on 29 November 2018.

The winning work showcases exemplary use of multiple finishing techniques to printability on multiple varieties of papers.
The Pragati Wall Calendar 2018, with a run length of 4,000, is printed on the Komori Lithorne G29 and G40. Post-press includes printing on metPET, micro-embossing, foiling with overprinting, gloss, matte and texture UV varnishes. The flyleaf has two types of screen varnishes, gloss and pearl.
The CHI Calendar 2018, with a run length of 1,200, is printed on Komori Lithorne G29 and G40. Post-press includes gloss raised UV, raised UV with gold particles, and micro-embossing and foiling with overprinting.
The Bang Wall Calendar 2018, with a run length of 3,500, is Komori Lithorne G40. Press-press involves colour separation for extended gamut and various micro-embossing finishes.
The Palai Table Calendar, with a run length of 400, is printed on SBS board, 1.2mm binding board, and 170gsm coated matte art paper on Mitsubishi Diamond v3000. Post-press includes matte lamination, die-cutting and fabrication with magnets for cover to open 360 degrees to form a calendar with 3D structure.
