Colorjet unveils two new digital inkjet solutions

Smarth Bansal, DGM, product management, Colorjet, said, Soniq HQ is a 3.2-m indoor and outdoor high quality eco-solvent printer that can print up to the speed of 1,175-sqft/hr. It supports all types of media of both eco-solvent and solvent-based such as canvas, SAV, PVC banner, backlit film, window film, along with biodegradable and recyclable fabric solutions using Colorjet’s indigenous BioPrint technology.

Flagjet, on the other hand, is a 1.8-m direct-to-fabric sublimation printer that has been designed especially for flags and cloth banner printing. It easily prints on polyester-based fabric and also uses environment-friendly aqueous-based inks which are internationally Oeko Tex-approved.

“We have internationally accepted top-notch manufacturing facilities in India which manufactures precision engineered machines of the highest quality. We take pride in the fact that we are the only Indian manufacturer which produces inkjet printers in India, with 75% manufacturing value addition. With our local operations, we serve our Indian customers readily, in terms of service and spare parts,” Bansal added.

During Media Expo Mumbai, on the Colorjet stand there was also the Dimense printer, a kit that can print and emboss simultaneously. Manufactured by Veika, a Lithuania-based company, the printer is ideal for wallpaper production, said Sandra Morkevice, regional manager for North America, Japan and Australia.

Dimense claims that its technology is eco-friendly, as its inks are based on latex technology and structure forming material uses the PVC-free Ecodeco media.
