Established in 2001, Digital House was set up with an objective of bridging the gap that existed between screen printing and offset printing. The company has the majority of walk-in customers for business cards, brochures, flyers, invitation cards, calendars, postcards, stickers, tent cards etc.
“I have been using the Canon ImagePress C10000VP for over a year and I wanted to upgrade my machine inventory with another sturdy machine with the effective quality output. In that sense, the Canon ImagePress C8000VP was the perfect solution,” said Alex Antony of Digital House.
The C8000VP press is said to deliver a resolution of 2400x2400 dpi at print speeds of up to 80 letter-size images per minute in colour and black and white on media weight of up to 350gsm.
Talking about the reasons for the purchase, Antony said, “One of the best qualities of both C10000VP and C8000VP is its sturdiness. The print quality that these machines deliver is far superior to its competition and their downtime is exceptionally low thereby delivering higher productivity.”
The company also deploys X-Rite i1Pro2 spectrophotometer, Capsure colour measurement tools and post-press kit like the Polar paper cutter, thermal laminators, perfect binders etc.
“We wanted to improve our output capacity and this investment has definitely helped us achieve the enhanced scale we desired. Both the presses I think are one of the best in the industry with respect to repeatability and accuracy of colour on jobs” he concluded.
Canon has achieved more than 50 installations of the C8000VP since its launch in early 2017.
