DuPont-Tyvek is on board as PWI Awards Certificate Partner

After being on the fringes as providers of paper for PWI Awards certificate, DuPont’s Tyvek division has now consolidated that partnership by becoming a full-fledged sponsor of PrintWeek India Awards.

Tyvek is a brand and business of DuPont, which manufactures non-woven non-tearable synthetic substrate, which targets innovative market-driven applications.
 
Speaking about the association, Shyamlal Patnaik, segment leader for Tyvek at DuPont, said, the reason for this consolidation has been PrintWeek India Awards recognition by the print and graphic industry and as one of the esteem Awards with very transparent process of selection of top Award winners. “As a company which is continuously striving to make Tyvek relevant to customer application where durable substrate with latest printing technology provides innovative solution to graphics market, it is very apt to align with these Awards.”

Tyvek, Patnaik said, has unique selective barrier properties which makes it light weight; chemical and moisture resistant; breathable; insect and rodent resistant; and 100% recyclable spun bond olefin product. “These unique features in one single product makes a very distinctive offering to customers where customer get benefit from strong value proposition against next incumbent substrate and also increase in business for printers with differentiated product.”
