Huhtamaki India appoints Sudip Mall as managing director

Mall is a seasoned business and thought leader with a track record of growing and building businesses in emerging Asian markets. He has progressed through multiple roles in sales, trade marketing, strategy and handling key markets and brands. “Mall is a people-oriented leader with an instinctive drive for results and accelerating growth through operational excellence, innovation and customer focus,” said the company.
 
Mall holds a post-graduate diploma from XLRI Jamshedpur, India and a bachelor of technology degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India. 

Prior to joining Huhtamaki, he has been associated with top companies such as Campbell Soup Company, the Lego Group and Kraft Foods. He began his career at Cadbury India.
 
He will be based in Mumbai and will report to Dr Arup Basu, president – Flexible Packaging, Huhtamaki Oyj and the board of Huhtamaki India.
