Baddi-based Sun Industries picked up two Technocut 1050S die-cutters, and the folder-gluers – the SmartFold 1100SL and the SmartFold 800PC. Jitender Saharan of Sun Industries said, “Being a new entity, it was a big decision to invest in two sets of die-cutters and folder-gluers in one go, especially in the present scenario. We have evaluated all available options and shown our belief in DGM as our growth and business partner,” Saharan said.
Pune-based Zaware Creative Enterprises picked up a Technocut 1050 die-cutter and a Smartfold 1100 SL folder-gluer. Raahhul S Zawarre of Zaware Creative Enterprises said, “We are a commercial printer who diversified into packaging in 2016-17. With these two finishing machines, we will be able to provide complete packaging solutions under one roof with no compromise in capabilities with capacity.”
He added that the company opted for the DGM machines because of its acceptance in the Indian market. “The DGM equipment has filled the gap between capabilities and capacity at the right price and local support. Both the machines are future-ready, and upgradation can be made as per the job and future requirement,” he said.
Noida-based Lynx Designers & Creators purchased a TechnoFoil 1050FC foil stamping machine and a Smartfold 1100 SL folder-gluer. Lynx already has a DGM die-cutter on its shopfloor running for the last nine months. After experiencing the performance and support from DGM, the company decided to go for the same partner for its next purchase of hot-foil stamping and folder-gluer kit.
Among the other deals, Agra-based Shreedevi Packaging opted for a Technocut 1050 die-cutter and a TechnoFold 1100PC; Lucknow-based Apex India purchased a Smartfold 1100SL; Baddi-based Jasco Paper opted for a SmartFold 800PC; Chennai-based WinPack Ventures picked up a TechnoFold 1100AC and Guwahati based Santoshi Enterprise opted for a TechnoFold 1100C.
Puneet Agarwal, director, DGM Automation India, said, “We have installed more than 100 machines in the last three-four years with our existing users. This shows the acceptance of our products in the industry with a local factory, demo centre, warehouse and local support. DGM success shows that the Indian market wants to see the seriousness of the manufacturer towards India by local investment and presence.”
