Trelleborg introduces new Vulcan blankets

At Drupa 2016, the blanket specialist Trelleborg launched several offset blankets and digital products, including the new Vulcan Sunrise blanket for HUV printing, Vulcan F2016 for sheetfed and packaging applications, Vulcan Zenith for commercial sheetfed and the Printec 8263 for two-piece can printing.

The new Vulcan Sunrise is a 1.95 mm blanket, with a dedicated top compound and is specifically designed for the latest UV applications, such as LE/HUV and LED UV. Vulcan Sunrise enables first class solids and halftone reproduction, eliminating ink back-trapping.

Trelleborg has been present in India since 1997. Currently, it has two persons in India to provide assistance needed in the market and a distribution network across India. Trelleborg’s Rollin range is handled by Mumbai-based Nulith Graphic while TechNova handles the Vulcan range .

In addition to new blankets, Trelleborg will launch several software downloads. These include a ‘configuration’ product that allows users to select the right blanket or coating plate for the job/press by entering the application.
