The sale of the first Vinsak 1200 UV Inkjet system is mounted on an Omega slitter rewinder for the printing of 2D barcodes on filmic labels. The application will be the first of its kind in offering track and trace solutions to the pharma industry in India.
The VIS 1200 UV is based on DOD technology and can print on an extensive range of media and supports the use of a variety of inks. The VIS’s 108mm-wide device can cover wide print-width with fewer print heads.
DC Sharma, sales engineer, Creed Engineers, said, “There is a growing need in the market for solvent and UV curable inkjet systems, which can print on non-porous substrates including films, coated papers holograms among others. The VIS 1200 UV incorporates a technology used in imaging and fabricating printing applications.”
In addition, Vinsak has featured a broad range of pre-press equipments, plates and consumables including platesetter, processor, thermal and analog plates at hall 9E-75 at Drupa.
Neeraj Sharma, general manager sales at Vinsak, said, “Along with the pre-press solution, Vinsak has been successful in implementing brand protection across the pharma, automobile, tobacco and food sectors.”
