goMAD is 3 days of music, arts, dance and camping out in the wilderness of the Nilgiris. It’s an annual music festival dedicated to the most eclectic motley of creative arts.From fusion rock to pop, electronica to metal, from whirling dancers to art installations, goMAD is a unique annual festival with no headlining acts - only a pure celebration of the arts. It’s a platform for musicians, artists and dancers. We strongly believe that 36 hours of dancing in the moonlight and rocking through the dawn is a spiritual awakening that can break through barriers, move people and bring them together.
2012 was our first foray into music festivals. We tentatively dipped our toes and the surge that met us has carried us through the year and lead us to 2013. Now we’re back, with bigger names, badder acts, exciting add-ons, better organization, more experience and a buttload of fun. goMAD Music Festivals India..


The goMAD Bazaar is a large flea market with stalls from across India showcasing and selling handmade garments, handmade jewellery, pottery, hand woven and block printed fabrics, footwear, bags, organic products, and much more.

Experiment with new-age music and musical instruments from around the world! You will find established artistes customizing music-based installations – so preserve bottles, gather sticks from the woods between the stages or just bring your imagination with you to experience rhythms with a difference! You can also use the instruments provided by us at the Jam Base.

Sweet, smoky, spicy, meaty, fall-of-the-bone... its goMAD Barbeque all the way! If you are hankering for some smoky goodness, look no further. Sink your fangs into some lip-smacking-saliva-inducing-salubrious preparations artistically crafted to satisfy your craving.

The goMAD Dosa Corner is the perfect choice for those with little need to converse over a meal and much desire to ingest tasty carbohydrates. Relish sumptuous homemade-style delicacies ranging from hot yet soft idlis to crisp vadas that melt in your mouth.

Makers of images can be powerful communicators. The goal of the Art & Visual Installations at the goMAD Festival workshop is to educate future artists and designers to be responsible global citizens, citizens aware of their power to effect social change.
