The Conclave will precede the PrintWeek India Awards night at 30 August at the Hyatt in Mumbai during which the top 'prism' will be handed-over to print firms in 19 Quality Awards category and six Performance Awards category.
Dr Ajit Ranade, well-known economist and head of the Corporate Economics Cell (CEC), a research-based advisor for the Aditya Birla Group, will be delivering the prestigious key-note address at the PWI Conclave
The highlights of the Conclave include:
- Drupa Talk: Jo Francis, deputy editor from PrintWeek UK will be presenting: A View from Drupa: Review and overview
- Drupa panel discussion with top tech-specialists from Advanced Graphic Systems (AGS), Bobst India, Canon India, Dupont India, Garnett Papers, Goss International & SLKCG, GMC Software Technology, Henkel Adhesive and Welbound Worldwide
- Tarun Rai, chief executive officer, Worldwide Media, and president, The Association of Indian Magazines will speak on: Magazines - The power of engagement and the future of print
- Indrajit Sen, executive director of Indian Outdoor Advertising Association and founder-director of Media Analytics and Designs will speak on: Top trends in OOH. What a print vendor needs to look out for
- Subodh Kulkarni, packaging material supply chain director at Tetra Pak will talk on 'Green' initiatives by Tetra Pak in India
- Gokul Krishnamurthy, the editor of Campaign India will discuss the Power of Print - with top brands and print buyers
- Ravi Kiran, a growth advisor and an active angel investor. He is the co-founder and managing partner of Friends of Ambition, helped build and ran several businesses for Starcom MediaVest Group, a part of Paris based Publicis Groupe, as its CEO- South East and South Asia. He will speak on: What start-ups in big cities can learn from businesses in Middle India
- Yogesh Dixit, director-SME Ratings, CRISIL, will discuss rating services of CRISIL for MSMEs and how the print industry can benefit from it.
- Karin Mayer, vice president, business line management for ink and dry toner solutions at Canon. She will discuss: How to make India one of the world's leading outsourcing player.
