The third generation of the organisation has succeeded to bring home various accolades and trophies. An essential for him is the experience that his uncle and mentor, Pramod Jain, brings to the table.

When did you decide to join the business?
After finishing my engineering and MBA, I worked for three years before joining the company in 2003.

What technology has made the biggest difference to your business?
Variable data printing.

What do you prefer: a mentor in the industry or brain storming with like-aged?
A mentor for the experience he gets to the table. Brain storming works, but experience has its own advantages.

If you won Rs 25 crores what would you invest in? Why?
I would invest it in the security of my family. If you are mentally at peace, you will perform well in your business.

For a working lunch if you met the PM of India, what would you talk to him about?
I would talk to him about creating a platform for the core sector, the MSME, which will drive the growth of the country. The MSMEs employ a large proportion in India.

3 am print consultant?
My uncle, Pramod Jain. I consider him the guru in the industry along with my father, who has spent 35 years in the print industry.

One person who impressed you with wisdom. Why?
My grandfather, Madanlal Jain. He is a man who has grown from nothing to where we are. He came to Kolkata from Rajasthan and made it big.

What’s the first thing you do on entering the office?
Offer a small prayer to God.

If you were NOT in this industry, you would have ...
I am strong in numbers, so I’d perhaps be in the banking industry, doing investment banking.
