What can our industry learn from the Award winners and shortlisted companies?
Award winners in any event set a benchmark for the industry to follow, showcasing the best practices and innovations that drive the industry forward. With a mixture of commitments to quality, innovation with the use of technology, use of sustainable ideas, and adoption of customer-centric approach keeping in mind the design aesthetics, award winners can elevate the design standards and inspire the ideas and value of innovation in the industry.

What specific contributions have your products made to driving excellence within the industry?
Well, we have always been a pioneer in bringing papers produced with advanced technology that meets sustainable parameters. We have always volunteered our services to our customers to provide customised solutions based on their requirements. Be it customised size, grammes, colour, texture or finishes. Apart from this, we have also been conducting various learning activities for design students and have encouraged collaborations with design and print companies that have led to the co-development of cutting-edge solutions.

Are we doing enough to fix the perception problem? One thing we should do?
Well, addressing a perception requires a strategic and ongoing effort. While we are already doing lots of things, we still believe that there is always room for improvement. At Sona, we have made considerable efforts to address perception through our quality, innovation, and sustainability. I think one thing that we should do is to remain transparent and let the world know the effort we are making towards sustainability.
