A forelook of ProPak India 2019 - All about machines

As the second edition of ProPak is just a fortnight away, the PrintWeek India team provides a compilation of the must-watch machines at the show

Alligator Automations
Alligator Automations would be showcasing their automatic bagging machine and robotic palletising system at the expo. According to the company, the automatic bag replacer and bag filling lines are built in India. The firm also claims to have the highest number of robotic palletising projects executed in India.

Eco Cosmos
Eco Cosmos, which provides equipment related to food processing, would be displaying its semi-automatic volumetric filling machines and vegetable processing machines at the expo. The company claims that the machines are sturdy and perform precisely and offer value for money.

Maharshi Udyog

The company would be displaying an automatic sticker labelling machine, automatic shrink sleeve applicator, sticker label in roll form, and shrink sleeves at the expo. The company claims that its products have high efficiency, lower power consumption, and intelligent machine design, when compared to other machines available in the market.

Pactech Machinery

The Mumbai-based firm would be showcasing its front back wraparound (PM 150 FBWR 15) sticker labelling machines at the ProPak India show. The company claims that the machine can apply different types of labels to different container shapes with speed and accuracy. The machine is said to be capable of applying front and/or back application of labels to the flat panel or oval containers and application of wraparound labels to cylindrical containers in the same machine. The machines are suitable for glass bottles, plastic containers, cans and jars. In addition, the same machine can be used for pharmaceuticals with 21CFR compliance with track-and-trace and auto-rejection system.

Summit Technodyne
Statec Binder, along with Summit Technodyne, would be showcasing its high-performance net weigher with gravity fed at the expo. The product portfolio of the Austrian company includes high-performance open-mouth FFS bagging machines and a high-level, portal and robot palletisers. High-performance net weighers, big bag filling stations and the latest bag closing systems round-off Statec Binder’s product range. Local representatives team from Summit and the sales team from Austria would be available at the booth to discuss about the solutions that the company provides.

Toshniwal Hyvac
Toshniwal has a wide range of products that cater to the processing and packaging industry. The company would be showcasing equipment for filling machines along with density and concentration meters at the expo. Toshniwal will display electromagnetic flowmeter series, mass meter series, oval wheel meter series, and control units at its stall. The company also has vacuum pumps for packaging and thermoforming applications.

VT Corp
VT Corp would be showcasing its automatic weighing machine, Emballage (pick-fill-seal), and form-fill-seal in weighing metric. The automatic weighing machine, VTC-VGFP-1.1 is a digital load cell-based auto weighing and packing machine controlled by microprocessor-based controller. It is suitable for packing granules and powder products like chemicals, fertiliser, sugar, rice, food grains, tea, and so on. VTC-EMB-1 is a fully automatic bag filling and sealing machine for paper and plastic bags, mostly used for granular products.

Ace Technologies would be at the expo showcasing its inspection, packaging and process types of equipment. Some of the products at display include a metal detector, check weigher, and X-Ray for inspection of foreign particles in the food.

The company would be displaying a new inkjet printer from Hitachi, UX-D160WG, at ProPak India this year.

Galaxy Sivtek
Galaxy Sivtek would be showcasing industrial sieves, separators, filters and automated solutions at the expo. The company claims its products ensure powders; granules and liquids are free from contamination and foreign particles.

Janatics India The firm would be showcasing its range of pneumatic products such as FRL, pneumatic cylinder, solenoid valves, one-touch fittings, and accessories at the expo.

Michelman
Michelman, specialises in recyclable water-based coatings would be present at the ProPak India show. With a state of the art coating incubator located at Michelman Innovation Centre for Coatings (MICC) in Mumbai, the company collaborate with brands, converters and film manufacturers to innovate and develop sustainable packaging solutions.

Nanjing Light Industrial Packaging Machinery
The company would be showcasing its range of solutions and products for beer canning, beer bottling, beverage filling, juice filling, mineral water filling, and spirits filling.

Pakona Engineers
The company offers packaging lines, right from packing the loose products into bags, followed by secondary cartons and then finally into cases. Pakona would be showcasing its packaging machinery for powders, granules, solids, liquids and pastes.

Parle Global Technologies
Parle Global, an engineering organisation in the food and beverage, consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical segments, provides food and beverage processing with primary and secondary packaging services. The company would be showcasing their products at ProPak India at Booth P26.

Separation Techniques has a range of circular vibrating screen models, tubular centrifuges, and sparkler filter press to suit the screening and filtering requirement in the food and processing industries.

The Chinese company would be displaying its sealing liners and plastic bottles and caps at the expo.
