Ashapura Digital Print purchases Bindwel Blue Chip

Who: Ashapura Digital Print, a commercial printing company founded by Dhanji Dubariya and managed by Yash Dubariya.

Where: Andheri in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The company services markets from Boisar to Bandra, therefore, mainly the suburbs of Mumbai.

What Ashapura Digital Print does: The company is a full-service short-run commercial printer that provides quality work on time. Its services include brochures, visiting cards, books on demand, print-on-demand, labels, corporate gifting, signages for indoor advertising, and stationery supplies. Ashapura Digital Print is also a retail partner for Kangaro.

Factory and machines: Housed in a 2,000-sqft space, Ashapura Digital Print has nearly 12 employees working in a single, 8-hour shift. On its shopfloor, the company has the Xerox V180 and D95, Epson Inkjet M21000 (mono), Epson C21000 (colour), Bindwel’s Blue Chip Perfect Binder, Dumor’s auto creaser and round corner cutting machine, and a UV printer from Mimaki (the UJF-6042 MK 2E). Ashapura Digital Print also has a Canon Pro 540S-8 Colour Plotter for signages, architectural drawings, and film posters for Dharma Productions.

Jobs that Ashapura Digital Print is proud of: There are multiple jobs that the company is proud of, including creating marketing collateral for Lakshmi Dental Lab, Mumbai, which is a sister concern of Alvy Dental Lab (one of Ashapura Digital Print’s most valuable clients). The collateral was manufactured by 35 contract employees within a week, and exported to the US.

In terms of books, an important project for the company was producing a total of 25,000 units for 12 titles for Mumbai-based Nobel Biocare. In terms of volume, the company produced marketing collateral for Illusion Dental Lab in Mumbai of around 3,60,000. 

The company had an order with an impossible deadline too — 1,500 perfect binding books for Smart Training & Consultancy Services. It was completed overnight.
