What were the key trends in printing and packaging equipment/material manufacturing in 2024, and how did your company adapt to or capitalise on them?
In 2024, sustainability, automation, digital printing and advanced embellishment effects emerged as key trends in the printing and packaging industry. At Bobsberg India, we represented some of the advanced equipment to align with these trends. For instance, our UV curing systems incorporate cutting-edge technology that offers the highest energy savings, addressing both sustainability and operational efficiency.
Our offline blanking machine, Intelli-Blank, one of the most advanced in the market, provides exceptional automation by eliminating the manual stripping and blanking process and ensuring higher quality of finished blanks.
Additionally, our affordable digital-cutting machine/sample-maker offers automation in the sample-making process for packaging and corrugated segments. Our fully servo-driven flute laminator machine offers high efficiency and high automation.
How did your company perform in terms of equipment installations/users in India and globally in 2024?
As a young company that has recently started operations, we are satisfied with the positive response we are receiving from the market. We have started well with some good orders, which are yet to be delivered to the customers. Our product portfolio includes UV curing and coating systems, sample makers, offline stripping and blanking machines, automatic flute laminators and consultancy services under our Business Intelligence vertical.
What new products or applications did you introduce in 2024?
Since one of our product portfolios is UV curing and coating systems, we represent a well-known brand in this segment, Alpna. We would like to highlight the innovations Alpna has introduced in the market. Alpna’s high-speed offline coaters are capable of performing drip-off at an impressive speed of 15,000 sheets per hour. At Bobsberg, we are successfully creating awareness about this innovative product among customers. The response has been remarkable, reflecting the increasing demand for high-speed coaters due to the rise in post-printing embellishments.
We have also introduced the Intelli-Blank, one of the most advanced offline stripping and blanking machine that automates the traditional manual stripping process, improving productivity, efficiency and quality in carton production.
What emerging trends do you foresee driving the printing and packaging equipment market in 2025?
In 2025, sustainability, automation and digitalisation will continue to drive the printing and packaging equipment market. Demand for intelligent and faster automation will grow rapidly. At Bobsberg, we are well-prepared to capitalise on these trends.
How your organisation will contribute to enhancing the productivity and profitability of the printing and packaging community in 2025?
