How does your company and your products embody the spirit of excellence that the Awards aims to celebrate?
PrintWeek Awards, as the largest in their category in India, contributes to raising awareness of value-added packaging and serves as an encouragement for converters to view product packaging as the face of a brand; similarly, we intend to raise industry excellence in automation and quality standards.
What can our industry learn from the Award winners and shortlisted companies?
PrintWeek Awards winners are always a source of inspiration for the rest of the industry players; additionally, the industry can establish a benchmark and seek to level up themselves at regular intervals to see them in the place.
Which are the products that you showcased at Drupa you are particularly proud of in the context of excellence?
We, as a reseller for premium OEMs, demonstrated our whole product line at OEM booths; the main products were GMG, Hybrid software, Xrite, and Global Vision.
What specific contributions have your products made to driving excellence within the industry?
All of our products are motivated by a single goal: to automate the customer's current workflow while also adding profitability to their business beyond what is currently being done. For example, over the years, we have shifted the industry from costly machine proofing to colour-accurate digital proofing with the GMG - Epson bundle, which was not acceptable in the industry a decade ago until it was proven across the market leaders in all segments.
Are we doing enough to fix the perception problem? One thing we should do?
We believe that business owners lack precise information on the utilisation of their technology investments, which is critical for future growth and improvement.
A rollercoaster season. One tip you have for the industry for the rest of 2024?
The roller-coaster season is usually the last quarter for us, regardless of the FY so far; because the Q2 is a monsoon-driven one and the Q3 is a festival-driven one, Q4 accelerates the entire FY; meanwhile, our Q4 is Q1 for all of our suppliers, so it's always packed one for us. One tip – organise your business and distribute your investments with a long-term perspective.
