Destination Dusseldorf: Interpack 2014 Preview
Interpack 2014 is this year’s packaging megashow with 2700 exhibitors from over 60 countries and occupying a gross area of 1,75,000 sq/ft. To open up a gateway for Indian manufacturers to the global market, Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) with the help of Government of India’s funding has set up the India Pavilion, to showcase the prowess of Indian packaging manufacturers.

After a resounding success of the 19th edition of Interpack which closed as the most successful events in the 53-year history of the world’s most important trade fair for the packaging sector the exhibitors expect the 20th edition to be at the same grade.
Ashutosh Mukhopadhyay | Hall 07.2, C18
A solution provider for de-lamination technologies. Mukhopadhyay has six patents to his name on de-lamination and recycling technologies. At the show he would be focusing on delivering his packaging waste and recycling techniques.
Emmbi Polyarns | Hall 12, A07
Established in 1994, Emmbi Polyarns are manufactures of FIBC (jumbo bags) and woven sacks and various woven polymer based products like container liners, protective irrigation system, canal liners, flexi tanks, car covers etc. The company will showcase it’s established brand of FIBC bags. In addition to FIBC the company manufactures various woven polypropylene products including small bags, box woven bags, roofing underlayment fabric, courier bags, ground covers, silt fence and geotextiles. The company offers woven bags and fabrics in both PP and HDPE with the products being UV stabilised and pre-conditioned against shrinkage.
ACE Industries | Hall 12, A07
Inepted in the year 2001, Ace Industries has established itself as an eminent manufacturer, supplier and exporter of wide assortment of packaging machines. The company manufactures carton sealing machines, induction sealing machines, pouch packaging machines, banding machines, weigh filling machines and material handling conveyors. The company would be launching its shrink sleeve labelling tunnel, Rota-tunnel during the show.

Based out of Gujarat, Damati Plastics is a pioneer in disposal food packaging products. Having an established and a renowned production line, the company specialises in manufacturing rectangle and round plastic containers, plastic cutleries, Polystyrene glasses and paper cups. At the show the company would be showcasing its container varieties which inc;udes rectangle containers and round containers with lids.

Based in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai, Sanjeev Flexi Pack has its presence in countries including India, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, UAE, Gulf, Bahrain, UK, Mauritius and USA. The company is into flexible packaging manufacturing spanning a wide variety of industries like food, FMCG, pharma, Agriculture and chemicals, engineering etc. The core products of the industry include laminated rolls, pouches and carry bags. The company would be demonstrating printed spouted pouches for dishwash liquid/liquid detergents, spouted pouches for water, unprinted spouted pouches, pouches for frozen food packaging and stand-up/block bottom pouches.

Technofour Electronics is a part of Technofour Group based out of Pune and provides technical solutions to the pharma and food industries. The companies portfolio includes metal detectors, check weighers, pin hole detectors and combo check weighers. Technofour’s focus at the stall would be at combo metal detector model SS30 + deduster system model DD10, high speed and high accuracy checkweigher system model CW600HSA-01 and pin-hole detectors for detection of micro pin holes/tears in the Alu-Alu blister packs.

Based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Navrang Polyfilms are into manufacturing barrier films. It manufactures high quality plastic films with the help of its state-of-the-art facility that is fully loaded with automatic systems for extrusion, multicolor printing, slitting, pouch/ bulk bag making and more. The company will be exhibiting vaccum pouches, stretch hood films, shrink films, silage wrap films, flexible packaging rolls, bale wrap/silage wrap films.
Alpha Packaging | Hall 07.2, C18 - C19
Exhibiting for the first time, Missouri-based, Alpha Packaging is one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality bottles and jars. with production facilities at eight countries around the world, the company with a state-of-the-art injection blow moulding machines, manufactures bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP) and polylactic acid for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, personal care, consumer chemical, and food and beverage markets. At Interpack the company’s focus would be on promoting their polyolefin shrink films and their wide variety of PET bottles.

Ansapack is a Mumbai-based packaging solution provider for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging in cartons, pharma flexibles, corrugation and blow film sectors. Ansapack would be introducing and exhibiting its entire range of Pan-series (Ansapack Trademark) products that include peelable lidding foils, water-based systems for pharmaceutical applications, primered solutions for in-line printing systems, drug delivery primary packaging applications and child resistant and senior friendly solutions amongst others product offerings. A version of cold form would also be on display from its product portfolio that benefits yield for customers and acts as a stronger barrier to humidity and water vapor, titled Panblok Eco.

Star Pac, the Chennai-based packaging machinery manufacturer will be introducing a new concept of duplex multi-track three side seal vertical form fill seal machine at the show. Established in 1996, the company is into manufacturing form fill seal machines both vertical and horizontal, flow wrappers and standalone fillers to name a few.

A Part of the Bagla Group, Hindustan Adhesives, established in 1988 is into manufacturing of specialty adhesive coatings with the then latest technology of acrylic emulsion based coating and hot melt adhesive coatings. The company is also into manufacturing specialised double bubble films and has added polyolefin shrink film for display packaging into its portfolio. At Interpack, the company will be launching its new range of cross linked polyolefin shrink film.
Hindustan Tin Works | Hall 11, A40-6
Hindustan Tin Works (HTW), established in the year 1958 is a public listed company based out of New Delhi. The company are into manufacturing of metal cans and closures. One of the leading companies in metal can making, HTW recently joined hands with a UK based Rexam PLC, largest beverage can maker of the world to produce 2-piece cans in India to cater to the growing demand of carbonated soft drinks, beer and beverages in the country. At Interpack their focus will be on metal can packaging.
