Xeikon 3030
The Xeikon 3030 is an entry-level press designed to grow with a company’s business, ideal for a company looking for shorter runs, just-in-time production and customisation. It is a five-colour, web-fed, dry toner press with the benefits of opaque white and extended colour gamut. These benefits open the door to a wide range of label applications, including health and beauty, premium beer and wine and spirits. Xeikon’s dry toner technology is certified for food safety, maximising opportunities in the food and packaging markets plus high levels of light fastness on the press allow converters to address label end-uses requiring durability. The 1,200-dpi print resolution running at a top speed of 31.5-ft/min ensures that converters can serve the high-quality offset label market as well as the flexo quality market. The latest version of Xeikon’s powerful digital front end, X-800 6.0 can be integrated with existing MIS systems for fully automated job preparation
Xeikon 3050
Part of the Xeikon 3000 series, the 3050 LED-array based digital press offers the flexibility of a wider format at an entry level cost. It is ideal for converters working in the folding carton and packaging markets. It can handle 814 B2 sheets an hour at 1200-dpi. The full rotary printing, with variable repeat length, ensures that the printing speed is not affected by the label size nor the number of colours used. As with the other Xeikon 3000 Series models, the 3050 runs Xeikon’s dry toner technology, which is certified for indirect food contact under room temperature and less severe conditions as well as direct food contact for dry food substances containing no surface oil or fat under the same conditions. It can print on scalable web widths from 250-mm up to 516-mm, including the popular 330-mm width
