Drupa 2024 Preview: Dalim Software – Fujifilm
Drupa 2024 is back after eight long years and will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, from May 28 to June 7. In this special series, PrintWeek highlights the top exhibitors to watch out for at the show.

Dalim Software (Hall 16/A40 and Hall 7a/D01)
Dalim will showcase its next-generation platform, including Dalim ES and Dalim Twist products. Dalim’s new software platform is built on a unique platform embracing what Dalim calls its future-proof Mach architecture. The software is designed with highly flexible solutions that offer an intuitive user experience and powerful automation capabilities, allowing businesses to focus on their core business offerings while expanding their capabilities. The platform is designed to meet the demands of the next generation of production obstacles, supporting businesses to stay ahead in an ever-changing landscape. Dalim ES provides an end-to-end solution for automating and managing the entire content lifecycle. At the same time, Dalim Twist helps automate time-consuming pre-press processes from pre-flighting to final file prep for output, making it an ideal solution for virtually any print or online output.
Duplo (Hall 6/A31, A31-2)
Duplo, a leading printing and finishing equipment manufacturer, has launched its latest saddle stitching system, the iSaddle Senshi. The kit will be demonstrated at Drupa.
This machine is designed for publishing, marketing, and commercial printing operations. Equipped with end-to-end automation, it easily handles complex jobs and short runs. Its heavy-duty stitching ensures durability, while its flat-to-finished book production speed of up to 5,050 A5 booklets per hour is unparalleled.
With the iSaddle Senshi, Duplo has raised the bar for productivity and efficiency.

Durst will be exhibiting the P5 SMP (super multi pass) wide-format press with enhanced productivity of up to five million sqm per year; and a new water-based wide system for corrugated printing.
The digital print specialist also announced the next stage of its relationship with Omet – the KJet, which will be launched at Drupa. The launch of the KJet follows an announcement at Labelexpo in Brussels extending the hybrid development partnership between the two organisations beyond the KJet platform.
Enfocus (Hall 8B/A12)
Enfocus (part of Veralto group) will showcase its suite of automation software solutions, including its latest innovation, Enfocus Review, an online PDF proofing solution. The company will also feature other solutions like Switch, Griffin, Phoenix, and PitStop. Additionally, Enfocus will present an exciting vision for the future of its print automation software solutions at the innovation lab, where it will collaborate with its partners to demonstrate an integrated technology ecosystem. With its commitment to releasing feature enhancements three times a year, attendees at Drupa will get a chance to experience the latest iterations of Enfocus software firsthand.
Must See: Epson (Hall 5/D20)
Epson’s latest industrial printhead, the D3000, is designed for aqueous and UV ink applications. It features a high-speed, single-pass, 1200 dpi resolution with nozzle-level recirculation. It is tailored to a range of applications, such as flexible and corrugated packaging, folding cartons, labels, textiles, and decor.
Epson’s 64-inch print format includes replaceable printheads, improved environmental standards, and easier-to-use features. Their new industrial SurePress labelling concept is aimed at aqueous and UV ink-based label presses. Their new direct-to-fabric printer, Monna Lisa 13000, integrates pre- and post-processes and is an affordable single-step printer with a smaller footprint.
At Drupa, Epson will show its latest advanced dye-sublimation printer, SureColor F10000. This printer delivers productivity up to 255m2/h, 10L hot-swap inks (LcLm/FyFp), and self-replaceable parts for easy maintenance. The new printer comes with an optional 300kg jumbo roll (previously 60kg), ensuring continuous production and minimal machine downtime.
Also running will be Epson’s printers designed for personalisation and the micro-production market, including the hybrid DTG/DTFilm SureColor F100, the A4 UV flatbed SureColor V1000, the A3 UV flatbed SureColor V2000, and the new micro-production SureColor F2200.
The range of mini-lab (D1000, D500) and smaller dye-sublimation printers (SureColor F500 and F100) deliver multiple technologies that can be used on a wide variety of substrates for the personalisation market and can easily be accommodated in small back offices and tight retail spaces.
EyeC (Hall 14/D60)
EyeC will showcase its latest range of automated quality control solutions at the upcoming Drupa 2024. EyeC Proofiler Content will be launched, designed to automate the quality control of texts, graphics, and barcodes in packaging artwork files. Additionally, EyeC will present EyeC Proofiler Graphic, which detects errors in text, graphics, and colours, and EyeC Quality Link, software that connects multiple inspection systems to a single data hub. EyeC’s automated quality control solutions help printers and brand owners improve their quality control processes and achieve better results.
Fiery (Hall 8B/B10)
Fiery’s showcase at Drupa 2024 will include its latest range of advanced digital printing solutions. One of the main highlights of its showcase will be the new Fiery Color Profiler Suite, designed to simplify colour management and streamline the printing process. Additionally, the company will showcase the new Fiery Command WorkStation, designed to simplify print job management and streamline prepress workflows. Another key highlight of Fiery’s showcase will be the new Fiery DFE platform, which provides businesses with a scalable, flexible, and reliable digital printing solution. Attendees can schedule a meeting with the company’s experts to learn more about these innovative digital printing solutions.
Frontline.io (Hall 9 / D04)
Israel-headquartered Frontline.io, which offers a SaaS platform, will be demonstrating its AR (augmented reality), VR (virtual reality), and MR (mixed reality) technology, which will enable the creation of highly accurate, interactive digital twins that can solve some of the most pressing issues around training and support services for leading global hardware manufacturers. These digital twins reduce the need to travel to and examine real systems, significantly improving productivity, reducing costs, and boosting efficiency for operators, service engineers, and trainers. The digital twins powered by Frontline.io have already been adopted by industry leaders such as HP, Landa Digital Printing, and Bobst, who will demonstrate this technology’s benefits to customers and prospects at their respective booths. Frontline.io claims that its users are reporting a 50% decrease in training costs and a 15% increase in productivity. Former HP Indigo, Landa Digital Printing, and Scodix executive Gilad Tzori is the COO of the business.
Must See: Fujifilm (Hall 8B/A02, A02-6)
Visitors to the Fujifilm stand can explore the Jet Press 750S and Revoria Press GC12500, which offer print quality and paper versatility. Besides these, two new mid-range production printers will be modelled on the Revoria Press PC1120.
New processless plates for offset printing and DX solutions for automation and streamlining with workflow software will be unveiled. The recently released Jet Press FP790, which brings innovation to the flexible packaging printing process, will also be seen in action.
Fujifilm will introduce the Aquafuze technology, — a new water-based ink that prioritises safety and the environment — and the RxD Series, which allows for pigment dispersion with high stability in the face of diversifying ink formulations spurred by digitalisation.
