MBS LEDcure
IST Metz | Hall 5, Stall D21
Mulling upgrading your production process to the new LED technology? IST Metz will provide a free test phase. Additionally, ‘Buy One, Try One’ concept, IST METZ is providing customers with the option to try out the MBS LEDcure LED solution for free, for one month, when purchasing an MBS LAMPcure. It comes with the standard Hot Swap functionality. enabling users to switch between tried and tested UV lamp technology and new LED technology, at any time during the production process.
Flexo XP; Label XD; and the XO Series
AMS Spectral UV | Hall 6, Stall E52
The LED specialists' three technologies offer the benefits of LED-UV curing while being tailored to particular flexographic processes. For example, such presses equipped with Flexo XP Series curing modules can print at speeds of 650 feet-per-minute, with AMS claiming the LEDs readily last more than 20,000 hours and some operators having seen a 70% reduction in energy use. With power densities of up to 25W, colour quality and ink density can be improved, too.
UV curing systems
GEW | Hall 6, Stall C18
The British manufacturer will use the show as an opportunity to update visitors on its range of UV curing systems like the mercury arc systems, LED systems and hybrid systems together with the fully hybrid Rhino ArcLED electronic power supply.
FirePower FP601 and FireJet FJ601
Phoseon Technology | Hall 6, Stall D35
Phoseon's two new LED systems with specific capabilities for film and flexible packaging applications. The water-cooled FP601 cures UV LED flexo inks at speeds up to 300m/min while the J601 provides high-power 16W/sqcm at 395nm for retrofitting.
Compact 80/400 curing unit
Ebeam Technologies | Hall 4, Stall A25
In company with its partners, Uteco Converting and INX Digital International, Ebeam Technologies will show why inline ebeam curing benefits package printing including a higher degree of cure, durability, a higher gloss finish and the ability to cure all colours.
Illumina Retrofittable LED UV Curing System
Fujifilm 9 | Hall, Stall A34
Fujifilm’s brand new LED UV curing lamp system with the new 300 Series flexo ink, combines to bring the benefits of low energy LED UV curing to traditional flexo presses, with the potential energy savings of up to 90% compared with conventional UV curing lamps.
LEDmax IP2 UV system
Prime UV Systems | Hall 9, Stall A05
This Prime system can be retrofitted to a range of press and converting equipment, including narrow to wide web flexographic presses. It uses reflector geometry to boost UV dosage to ensure full cure while reducing the energy required.
UV curing system - Inert
Dr Hönle Group | Hall 8, Stall A54
Dr Hönle Group’s member PrintConcept will show its UV curing units with patented cassette technology, which it claims, can be applied for all web widths up to 2,600mm. A special feature of the UV modules is that an inertisation can be retrofitted at any time.
AdphosNIR dryer series
Adphos Digital Printing | Hall 7, Stall E63
See the company show a live demonstration of this new dryer series for pinning of hybrid (water/solvent) UV inks as a substitute for UV LEDs, and its capabilities of drying on plastic films and other temperature sensitive substrates.
Easycure LED curing system
DPL Industri | Hall 4, Stall A44
It has one of the most powerful LED curing systems on the market with peak energy up to 26w/cm2, claims DPL. Run a run a quick test on the CuringProofer and find out if the LED ink can run at a higher speed with the DPL LED curing system.
