Please describe your company.
Established in 1997, Sanraj Polyprinters is a one-stop solution provider for all packaging requirements. We specialise in manufacturing of flexible printing and packaging materials and lamination along with BOPP non-woven sacks for bulk packaging.

When did you start to use AlphaMix?
We are using the BST Eltromat systems from 2012. The AlphaMix is the latest inclusion since February 2020.

What are the properties of AlphaMix you like?
The AlphaMix is a user-friendly system.

Why did you decide to use the AlphaMix?
We produce large amount of laminated films and to ensure that there is zero de-lamination, we need to have a reliable system on our machine. We find the features of AlphaMix exactly as per our requirements.

What are the features that tilted the favour in this?
There are various unique features offered by AlphaMix, but the couple of most sought after features which helped us take the call were assurance of zero de-lamination and monitoring of both NCO and OH consumption separately. These two features stand out for this system and they are very critical for us.

How much have these features helped you?
Zero de-lamination implies zero rejection and wastage. Further, we have a liberty to monitor both NCO and OH separately. So, it helps us to have better control over the process. There is one more unique feature of auto-cleaning that has helped us to avoid the replacement of pump and enhance our overall productivity.

Is there anything that you do not like or can be improved about this?
I feel the overall visual appearance of AlphaMix design and aesthetic looks can be improved. I have discussed this with the BST Eltromat India team and I am happy to mention that they have acknowledged my feedback and are already working on the overall design of the system. As far as installation is concerned, we didn’t face any sort of trouble with the installation and commissioning.

If there’s a critical post press job that has come your way, would you rely on this to see it through?
So far, the performance of the AlphaMix has been quite satisfactory. The system was installed in February 2020 and during the lockdown period our unit was not operational to its potential. Now, things are coming back to normal.

What’s the quality like?
The overall performance of the AlphaMix is up to the mark and the kind of service we are getting from the BST Eltromat team is remarkable. The system is working well. Plus, our wastages and rejections have also reduced.

How easy is it to use and handle?
The system has been developed with the features keeping in mind the requirements of the users. The system interface is quite impressive and is easy to control.

Would you say that it offers value for money?
After-sales service in our industry is very critical and I feel the BST Eltromat India has never let us down in this aspect. Further, we are hopeful to achieve ROI of the system soon, since wastage and rejections are reduced drastically, which I think is a remarkable feat.

Were there any difficulties during the use?
We haven’t faced any difficulty in using the AlphaMix..

Who do you think the AlphaMix is right for?
For any solvent-less lamination film manufacturer, the AlphaMix can help reduce wastage.
