Please describe your company
Digital World is a unit of Graphics India, a proprietorship firm in Delhi. The unit is equipped with two latest Roland printing machines (VS640i & LEF 200) offering graphic colour-designing concepts for all advertising, printing and other general business/ professional requirements. We never compromise on the quality, making use to the state-of-the-art technology and with specialisation in providing corporates the perfect answer to their colour designing and printing needs in a time-bound, economic and cost-effective manner.

When did you start using the Roland VS640i?
We were one of the first users of this machine in India when we started using it around five years ago.

What are the properties of the machine you like?
Its print and cut technology, best quality production in this segment, quick job change, best onsite operator training were the major factors which made us invest in the machine, and then go for a second one.

Why Roland?
As Roland is one of the biggest players in the segment providing onsite service, it was our first choice. Also, with Roland, the ink is cheaper in comparison to the competition and long-lasting. Power consumption too, is less in comparison to the competition. Plus, it is easier to use. We looked at other options as well, but zeroed in on Roland as it offers a perfect solution. We have many satisfied clients who want to print their jobs only on this machine.

Did you look at other such machine?
Yes, of course. We wanted to be the best quality service provider. So, it was mandatory to do a survey of alternatives machine. We looked at Italian, Chinese, and Indian machines, but found Roland to be the best, offering value for money, with a good record of after-sales services in India.

What are the features of the machine you like?
I specifically like its print and cut feature. Also Roland has a wide variety of groundbreaking products, including vinyl cutters, thermal transfer printer/ cutters, wide-format inkjet printers and printer/ cutters, 3D scanners and milling devices, and engravers.

For what applications is the machine used?
It has got different mode to print substrates like canvas, cloth banner, vinyl and others. It has also got print and cut. We have used every application of this machine and it has given 100% output on every media.

Is there anything that you do not like or can be improved about this?
For the moment, we have used this machine for all applications and media. However, one media we can better focus on is leatherette, which has huge demand in gifting. You can print on it but the machine gets jammed. If we can introduce roller to hold the media tight, then it will be the bestseller in its segment.

What’s the quality like?
The print quality produced on this machine is incomparable to any other machines available in the market. The quality is such that it works without lamination.

How easy is to use?
It is very easy to use, within five minutes after training given to us by seller, me and my team started operating the machine.

Would you say that it offers value for money?
Of course it does. That’s why we have installed two machines and planning to have one more with advance and improved version.

Who do you think the VS640i is right for?
I have been using this machine for print and cut applications like t-shirt printing, stickers and other such applications. I think the machine is best suited for these kinds of applications and offers good ROI.

Under what circumstances would you recommend it to others?
It is value for money and very reliable. We haven’t had any issues since we last purchased it. So definitely, I am going to recommend it to everyone. I have already mentioned that I am going to buy one more.
