Please describe your company.
Our journey started in 1996 in a 160-sqft rental building with one hand-foiling machine and one screen printing table. Our founder, our father, C Balakrishnan, took us to this height with his marketing strategies. Since then the three brothers, travelled on the path our father showed. Now we operate in our 40,000-sqft building, Today, we manufacture mono cartons, sandwich boxes, and rigid boxes.

When did you start using the Zund cutting table?
We have been using the Zund cutting table since June 2024.

What are the properties of Zund cutting table you like?
We found the machine to be versatile, robust and precise. The linear cutting speeds are impressive at 1.4-m/sec. The best part is that the machine can be upgraded at the site with many features in its lifetime to enhance its production efficiency.  

Why did you decide to use the Zund cutting table?
In today’s competitive world, customers expect physical samples. That’s why we decided to use the Zund cutting table. There are lots of benefits to using the Zund cutting table. In particular, we can supply short-run jobs in no time without making dies for it. How much have these features helped you in your production?
We like all the features. We cut paper, boards, sponge, foam, plastic, polyester films on the Zund cutting table.

For what applications is the Zund cutting table used?
For now, we use it for packaging box sample making and to finish short-run jobs without making any dies. Going forward, we have lined up several other products to be explored.

Is there anything that you do not like or can be improved about this?
During installation, the Zund engineer helped explain each and everything about the machine. It was most useful.

What’s the quality like?
Perfect finish of packaging boxes with 100% accuracy.

How easy is it to use and handle?
