One minute with Reva Printery
Reva Printery’s roots can be traced back almost 60 years when Priyakant Parikh started a print shop with a treadle machine. As the business evolved, new capabilities were acquired and the range of services grew. Manish Parikh, COO at Reva Printery, recently added digital printing with the acquisition of Xerox Versant at Drupa 2016 to adapt to the changing customer demands.

Where is Reva Printery based?
We are based out of Mumbai's busiest and happening suburb Malad.
How many staff do you have?
About 65.
What does your firm do?
Create dot provoking customised and innovative print solutions by systematic and consistent involvement with our clients and end-users. The task becomes practically possible as we have all operations under one 7,000 sq/ft unit. From pre-press (design to CTCP), press (Heidelberg SM74 five-colour with coater and Xerox Versant 80) post-press (UV, sound, light and other finishing units), meticulous binding, organised despatch and a dedicated Team supporting all above.
Who is your typical customer?
Pharmaceutical and automobile companies.
You invested in a Xerox Versant at Drupa. Why?
We observed that personalised car dealer requirements and multi-language short-run pharmaceutical jobs are on the upswing. We wanted a high-end quick and uncompromising digital printing solution. Xerox Versant was a complete package. A wider size of 13x26-inch, up to 300gsm duplex printing in one go, print quality closer to offset, printing on MetPET board as well as plastic and Xerox’s reliable support – clicked instantaneously.
Why are you investing in a UV CTCP instead of a Thermal or Violet CTP?
I have seen Creo in action and UV CTCP is a proven technology. The results are outstanding.
What according to you is Mumbai city's print USP?
It’s the human resource that is available for print operations. I am proud and happy to be a part of the ‘non-cribbing print fraternity’.
Your company’s motto.
A swift, innovative and transparent print solutions provider, whose quality, services and commitments are sworn by.
Where do you see your business in five years’ time?
We are looking forward to leverage print applications that are growing (some of which we presently import). These include augmented reality, 3D printing, innovative lenticulars, web-to-print and the unbelievable digital print applications seen at HP’s Drupa stand. The immediate objective is to be a MIS-powered company and become a fully-integrated colour-managed print shop.
What’s your team’s favourite paper?
Stucco from Fedrigoni and Rendezvous from Samwha.
