What is your idea of a perfect print firm in India?
A firm which can provide all types of packaging solutions under one roof and fulfil the needs of clients, be it small or big.
What is the trait you most deplore in our industry?
The craze for turnover without profit is the trait I deplore the most in our industry
The current fact file of your press?
We have three printing machines. Out of which two are a six-colour UV and the latest one is a Gallus ECS 340 which is a nine-colour press
What is the trickiest colour that you have had to print?
Gold lacquer on PE silver and gold lacquer on overprintable silver foil with reverse white have been my trickiest colours
What is the quality you seek when you hire?
I prefer people who are responsible, pro-active, consistent in their attendance, happy to learn new things and seek exposure to the entire workflow
Which print job made you the happiest?
September 2018 where we printed 60 variants for a food company
Describe your day?
Meeting clients, discussing projects and solutions, and lots of travelling\
What is your most ‘wow’ moment (print / non-print)?
Installing a nine-colour Gallus ECS-340 press was a dream come true
Which is your favourite printing technology?
Flexo. Since one can produce high quality, precise short or long run jobs on types of possible substrates – along with finishing
One print blunder you made?
I once converted a long run job on an offline punching machine
