Bilcare, a packaging solutions provider for the pharmaceutical industry, is a research oriented firm which has filed for over 167 patents worldwide and are at various stages of granting, 34 of which have already been granted.

Bilcare has manufacturing facilities in nine different locations with five dedicated R&D centres spread across in Europe, USA and Asia, and serve their customers in over 50 countries with wide range of products and services.

Bilcare has reported a net loss of Rs 26.50-crore for the quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined by 15.72% to Rs 104.07-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 123.48-crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 44.83% to Rs 401.35 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 727.43-crore during the previous year ended March 2013.

Polyplex Corporation
Polyplex Corporation is among the world's largest manufacturers of thin PET/ Bottle Grade Pet Resin film. Their global presence is in 78 countries across Europe, Americas, the Indian sub-continent, Far East, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, catering to 1300+ customers.

They run integrated manufacturing operations from India, Thailand, Turkey and U.S.A. with distribution operations in U.S.A., China, Turkey and Netherlands.

Polyplex Corporation reported a net loss of Rs 1.80-crore for the quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 24.09% to Rs 293.45-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 236.49-crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

Jindal Poly Films
Jindal Poly Films is part of Rs 30 billion, Jindal Group. From being only a polyester yarn producer in 1985, JPFL diversified in 1996 into BOPET film production. In 2003, JPFL commenced production of BOPP film and metallised film. It further consolidated with the acquisition of France-based Rexor, which produces metallised and coated films as well as tear tape, stamping foil, security thread and other high-value products.

Jindal Poly Films' plant at Nasik is the world’s largest single location plant for the manufacturing of BOPET and BOPP films.

Jindal Poly Films’ net profit rose 167.68% to Rs 51.77-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 19.34-crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 20.07% to Rs 675.48-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 562.59-crore during the quarter ended March 2013.

Hindusthan National Glass and Industries
Hindusthan National Glass started operations in 1946 following the commissioning of India’s first fully automated glass manufacturing plant at Rishra (near Kolkata). At present, it is the key player in India’s container glass industry with a pan India presence and its plants located at Rishra, Bahadurgarh, Rishikesh, Neemrana, Nashik and Puducherry.

Apart from being the undisputed leaders in glass container solution provider in India, HNG also carters to customers in 23 different countries.

Hindusthan National Glass and Industries have reported a net loss of Rs 63.19-crore for the quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 4.21% to Rs 476.06-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 496.96-crore during the quarter ended March 2013

Essel Propack
Essel Propack is a part of the Essel Group. Essel Propack functions through 24 state-of-the-art facilities in 12 countries, selling more than five billion tubes. With a market share of 33% in the laminated tubes domain, Essel Propack is the world’s largest manufacturer with units operating across countries such as USA, Mexico, Colombia, United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Egypt, Russia, China, Philippines, Indonesia and India.

Essel Propack has reported a net profit of Rs 12.12-crore for the quarter ended March 2014, a 12.11% decline from its March 2013 numbers. Sales figures were up by 20.61% to Rs 165.51-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 137.23-crore.

Piramal Glass
Piramal Glass (formerly known as Gujarat Glass) is a glass packaging company providing packaging for Pharmaceutical and Perfume Industry. Prior to acquisition in 1984 by the Piramal Group, the company located its manufacturing plant in Kosamba, Gujarat. Piramal Glass offers solutions like full bottle design capabilities, in-house mould design, CNC machines for mould manufacturing, glass manufacturing and dedicated ancillaries for decoration and accessories like caps, cartons and brushes.

Piramal Glass has its manufacturing facilities in India (Kosamba and Jambusar), Sri Lanka and USA.

Piramal Glass has reported a net loss of Rs 6.80-crore for the quarter ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 3.40-crore during the quarter ended March 2013. Sales figures rose by 4.81% to Rs 276.96-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 264.26-crore during the quarter ended March 2013.

Cosmo Films
Cosmo Films, manufacturer and supplier of packaging, label, specialty films and print lamination has a customer base which is spread across more than 100 countries in six continents. The company started their first production facility in 1981 at Aurangabad and has gradually expanded to become one of the leaders in BOPP films manufacturing. It acquired Gujarat Propack and 2002 and set up a manufacturing plant in South Korea in 2011.

Cosmo Films has reported a net profit of Rs 8.66-crore for the quarter ended March 2014, a 130.93% rise against Rs 3.75-crore during the quarter ended March 2013. Sales figures rose 46.26% to Rs 372.9-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 254.97-crore during the quarter ended March 2013.

Flexituff International
Flexituff International with its 5000 strong workforce and fully integrated plants are manufacturers of flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC). Flexituff manufactures a wide range of FIBCs in the world thanks to their in-house design and development team. Over 90% of their revenues are generated from global sales.

Flexituff International has reported a net profit of Rs 3.23-crore for the quarter ended March 2014. Sales figures also rose to Rs 303.81-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 274.13-crore during the quarter ended March 2013, a rise of 10.83%.

Paper Products
Paper Products offers a wide portfolio of packaging solutions that include flexible packaging, labelling technologies and specialised cartons. And all this supported by the packaging machine division to provide the customer with total packaging solutions. With three fully integrated manufacturing facilities at Thane, Silvassa and Hyderabad.

In 1999, Paper Products became a member of the Huhtamaki Packaging Worldwide, a global leader in consumer packaging.

Paper Products has reported a net profit of Rs 16.92-crore for the quarter ended March 2014. Other income for the quarter was Rs 1.39-crore.

Garware Polyester
Garware Polyester founded in 1957, developed in-house technology for polyester films in India and built its first state-of-the-art plant to manufacture polyester films 1976 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Garware Polyester has four manufacturing plants for polyester film and manufactures film of thickness ranging from 10micron to 350micron. The company possesses patented technology for dyed polyester film in India and USA.

Garware Polyester net profit declined 76.46% to Rs 5.52-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 23.45-crore during quarter ended March 2013. Sales also declined by 7.96% to Rs 187.10-crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 203.29-crore in March 2013.
