The quality of the machines, in comparison to the global standards, has been on a really positive side for the Indian printing industry.
One impressive exhibitor, in my opinion, was EtchCut. The company is exhibiting small machines to manufacture electroplated elements, which are used by commercial printers in decorative applications.
Another booth that caught my attention was Mumbai-based Deuco, which is exhibiting stitching wire in different colours.
The rigid box segment has seen a tremendous growth in the last couple of years and this is evident when you look at the number of exhibitors showing rigid box machines.
I feel there is a huge scope in screen printing segment. At PrintPack, I have been looking for a micro automatic screen printing machine for printing 1-up visiting card.
