The industry has drastically evolved over the years. I started my career working with the letterpress technology and obviously, we have come a long way now, with the digital space.
At this year’s show, the die-cutting and packaging post-press segment caught my interest. Also, the safety and security developments in all the machines have improved up to a great extent. Konica Minolta’s MGI Jetvarnish iFoil S, which offers hot foil stamping, is an impressive machine with its quality output.
The Nano-Print 1015 machine provided by Grafica Flextronica, a renowned name in the screen printing industry, is ideal for the MSME segment.
I would like to conclude by saying that it is essential for every printer to move along with the technology and changing market trends. I have been looking for a machine which can provide me with a better reflection of the UV through foil stamping, which I could test and apply at my press in Kathmandu, Nepal.
