What is your idea of a perfect print firm in India?
An organisation which is oozing with creativity and is willing to take up new challenges.

What is the trait you most deplore in our industry?
Insecurity among fellow printers.

What is the quality you seek when you hire?
Willingness of an employee to support the organisation in every possible way because it’s a tough road for start-ups and we need people who have the perseverance.

What is your favourite print joke?
Printing is like a marriage, once done there is no turning back.

What is your most ‘wow’ moment?
The day I laid my eyes on Bobst Master M5. It blew me away and I instantly made up my mind that it is the one for me.

Which living print person do you most admire? Why?
Chaitanya Vora of Accutech, Vadodara. He has mentored me through every step of my way. He is a gem of a person with tonnes of positivity.

What is the greatest strength of your printing firm?
We are all equals at Toph Packaging. That’s our strength, from top to bottom, each and everyone has equal importance.

What is your favourite Make in India print brand?
Huhtamaki.

What do you most value in your customers?
Their needs. A printer is the happiest when his customer knows exactly what he wants.

Which print technology, according to you, is the future? Why?
Extended colour gamut (ECG). Although it takes a lot of discipline to adopt, it will make our industry very efficient by minimising effort and wastage.

One blunder you made?
Hired wrong people.

If you were to die and come back as a printing press or software or ink, what would it be?
Definitely ink. I believe the ink realm consists of a variety of endless possibilities.
