How does your company and your products embody the spirit of excellence that the Awards aims to celebrate?
Excellence means being responsible. Every piece of our printing and labelling equipment undergoes rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. What can our industry learn from the Award winners and shortlisted companies? 
Our industry can gain valuable insights and inspiration from the practices of award winners and shortlisted companies, like innovation and adaptability, commitment to quality, customer-centric approaches, sustainability practices, creative problem-solving and finally leadership and culture.

Which are the products that you showcased at Drupa you are particularly proud of in the context of excellence?
In 2023, Vinsak acquired Rotatek Printing and Packaging Technologies SL, a well-established Spanish press manufacturer with a 50-year history. Rotatek SL, known for its expertise in security printing, flexible and carton packaging, and short-run labels, showcased its innovations at Drupa 2024.

At the event, we introduced the latest upgrade of our Universal model, Rotatek Universal 850 press, which significantly surpasses its predecessors in terms of speed, print width, technology, and ease of operation. This new model, designed specifically for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, and non-alcoholic beverages sectors, is set to launch by the end of 2024.

Additionally, Rotatek is developing an enhanced version of the Brava 450, aimed at short-run jobs. We plan to unveil the updated Brava 450 at the Label Expo Spain 2025.

What specific contributions have your products made to driving excellence within the industry?
Our presses, including the Universal 850, feature cutting-edge technology that boosts printing speed, accuracy, and quality. This innovation enables our clients to achieve higher productivity and superior print results, setting new industry standards. Additionally, the Rotatek Perfect NT press, renowned for its capability to print high-security documents, plays a crucial role in combating counterfeiting and fraud. This is especially important for governments and agencies worldwide, where security and authenticity are paramount.

A plant-based spread maker has moved into paper-based tubs. One sustainable product or concept that your team is working on?
Experience a superior print quality, with a commitment to sustainability, is our motto across expos this year, To ensure we practice sustainability we did Implementation of energy-efficient technologies and systems to minimise our carbon footprint, Recycling and responsible disposal of waste materials to reduce environmental impact. Use of non-toxic and food-grade inks and materials in our printing processes. Implementation of comprehensive safety protocols and training programs for all employees to ensure a safe working environment. Providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and promoting a culture of safety awareness among our workforce.

A rollercoaster season. One tip you have for the industry for the rest of 2024?
As we navigate this rollercoaster season, my tip for the industry for the rest of 2024 is to embrace and invest in digital transformation. Leveraging advanced technologies like AI, automation, and data analytics can streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and better meet the evolving demands of the market. Staying agile and innovative will help you stay competitive and resilient in a rapidly changing landscape.
