Nestlé Milkybar Chocolate Bar
Nestlé Milkybar Chocolate Bar has been repackaged in a newly designed 42g recyclable pack. This soft candy contains milk as the first ingredient in the recipe and is highlighted prominently on the front of the pack. Mintel research highlights that over two in five mothers with children in the household are interested in packaging with digital connectors such as QR codes.
This pack has deployed connected packaging through augmented reality to reinforce the values of recycling among children in form of Promise Packs.
Misht Peda
Misht Peda is said to be made with the finest ingredients and to be packed hygienically using cutting edge technology to bring out an authentic flavour. It comes in a 210g carton pack, with a thermoformed plastic tray that contains eight individually packed mithai pods. This product features a 45-day shelf life without the use of preservatives and is said to be free from added colours and flavours.
With over two in five Indians shoppers saying longer shelf life encouraged them to choose one product over another while shopping for food, this packaging resonated with consumers’ needs.
Endura Cookie and Cream Protein Bar
Endura Cookie and Cream Protein Bar is said to be loaded with 20g protein per bar and contains no added sugar, cholesterol, preservatives or artificial sweetener. It is described as a convenient-to-carry and easy-to-consume on-the- go source of protein that fulfils the body's daily protein needs in a delicious way.
The secondary pack comes in a solid whiteboard carton and features a QR code and a scratch code on the front and centre of the pack. The QR code is directed at the LetsVerify app and on inputting the code user can verify the authenticity of the product.
Bikaji Bikaneri Bhujia
According to Mintel research, two in five Indian shoppers want brands to use packaging that is biodegradable or compostable. Bikaji Bikaneri Bhujia©s newly designed flexible stand-up pouch is said to be recyclable and biodegradable. It aerobically biodegrades in the soil as per ISO 17556 standard.
The newly designed pack features Amitabh Bachchan as a brand ambassador.
Blue Tokai Sula Barrel Aged Blend Medium Dark Roast Coffee
The coffee features notes of wine and dark chocolate of green coffee beans from Attikan and Bibi estates. The secondary pack comes in a solid whiteboard carton, while the primary pack of sachets come in flexible packaging. The coffee sachets when secured to the cup with paperboard anchors that come with the bag act as a filter.
The user then has to pour hot water over the sachet. It doesn©t require any equipment and makes for a convenient, on-the-go, portable coffee maker. This is in line with Mintel research which highlights that over half of the Indian food and drink shoppers said that they would opt for the one which is ‘simple to use’.
