What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I have always wanted to run my own business and I feel very proud that I started Ston2pack at a very early stage of my career.
Tell us more about ston2pack
Ston2pack is a futuristic and environmentally friendly product offering company. We collect naturally available stone and convert it into raw stone paper. As India’s first and only stone paper company, we take pride in serving the industry and helping in sustainable development by reducing the carbon footprint up to 67% with other environmental benefits.
Your take on the print industry in the post-pandemic era?
The print industry has been facing a number of challenges in the post-pandemic era. With high demands and even higher rates of paper, there is a disruption in the supply chain. I believe that over the course of time the industries will surely come up with a better solution to eliminate/reduce the problem.
How can digital printing help in boosting creativity and consumer connection through packaging?
Moving from one trend to the next has become the new normal. No one wants to miss the opportunity to boost their product sales. Digital printing provides you with a print on demand option. One can create packaging to target specific groups using digital printing’s variable data printing option (VDP) and can connect personally to their consumers through packaging.
What is your take on sustainable packaging?
Sustainable packaging is the key to the future of packaging. We are surely going to witness smarter packaging solutions for sustainable living in the coming years.
Which is your favourite book?
Wings Of Fire by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Arun Tiwari.
Your dream visit to a factory?
Volkswagen Wolfsburg plant in Germany is one of the biggest car manufacturing plants in the world.
Social media has become the newest way of promoting packaging innovations and trends in packaging. Why?
Social media helps in consumer acquisition. To attract more people, brands use social media as a platform to showcase their innovation and grab customers' attention.
Which is the most innovative packaging that you have come across?
Samsung’s multipurpose recyclable TV packaging.
Are Gen-Zs loyal to brands or do they prefer exploring other alternatives?
Brand loyalty greatly depends on product quality, service, and availability. If brands are regularly providing such things to their consumers then no matter which age group they belong to, they will always be loyal to the brand.
Which scientist or technologist would you want to travel with on a long flight?
Steve Jobs. I would love to understand his marketing brilliance.
