A few launches at Pamex 2023
In my previous columns, I had written about my visits to the factories of some of the exhibitors and their plans for showcasing their latest products.
Here, I detail the launches planned by some others that I became privy too, in my interactions.
Suba Solution is set to launch, Blankwiser, the latest automatic stripping and blanking machine. V Vaidyalingam (also known as Vaidy), director for marketing, tells me the machine has all the features to replace manual blanking of cartons in carton production. Suba will also launch a special V cut, precision window patcher. “It has special features for brand protection, value creation and brand marketing,” says Vaidyalingam.
Both the machines will be running live at the show, demonstrating all the features of the two machines.

The farewell column
When I began to pen the last column of this series two days, the online registrations have crossed 16,000. With still time in hand, it seems that it may reach a landmark of 18,000. The Print-Packaging.com team moved in yesterday and started the process of handing over the possessions of the stalls.
A long queue for the trucks to unload the machinery in the venue could be seen. As I write, there is huge excitement in all three halls. Teams of workers are engaged in the construction of customised stalls. I am told that the increase in the number of custom-made booths in an exhibition also indicates the show's growing stature as the return on investment (ROI) sensitive exhibitors are ready to invest more in their participation. Despite the usual contingent from China missing out on this edition, the international flavour of the show will still be evident throughout.
As I bid my farewell, I take immense pleasure in being part of this journey and thank the president and chairman of AIFMP and the management and staff of Print-Packaging.com for the wonderful experience and the opportunity to work with them in setting up this show.
I also thank all the exhibitors, visitors and guests for their support and enthusiasm in making the show a grand success.
While wishing all the participants the best for a profitable four days, I look forward to joining you on another journey for the upcoming Pamex 2024 from 6-9 February 2024.
