Visitor speak: Akash Balachandra, director of Rajhans Enterprises
PrintWeek India speaks to Akash Balachandra, director of Rajhans Enterprises, a visitor at Labelexpo Europe.

Akash Balachandra, director of Rajhans Enterprises is a first timer at the Labelexpo Europe show. He is accompanied by A Balachandra, the man behind the success of Rajhans enterprises, which prints 45 monthly titles, six weekly titles and a raft of newspapers and mono cartons.
The Balachandras are looking out for a label machine, which will allow them to move into the label segment of packaging, a vertical which Rajhans has entered into just few months ago. The junior Balachandra is impressed with the technology on show.
“Changeover time, wastage reduction and print capability on different substrates grab eyeballs,” he says. On Rajhans’ investment Akash says, “We have seen the big presses, but we would like to start slow, maybe a smaller press, before moving over to a combination press.” With the move to labels, Rajhans will be bring all segments of print business under one roof.
