Women in Print: Rajshree Mandar Dixit

Rajshree Mandar Dixit looks after the administration at Mayur Graphics. She joined the company to assist her husband as the business was expanding and so was the workload. She is the mother of two kids and manages both household chores and work load.

Why did you enter the printing business?
Since our business started growing, we required more manpower; therefore I resigned from the school where I was working as teacher.
 
What is your favourite film?
Rang De Basanti.
 
What is your favourite phrase or saying?
Try and try but never cry.
 
What is your favourite song and singer?
Aye mere watan ke logon by Lata Mangeshkar.
 
What is your greatest moment in life?
When I became a mother.
 
Who or what makes you laugh?
My son; Shreyas.
 
What’s your worst fashion disaster?
I am a simple woman; so such things would never happen.
 
How do you keep yourself peaceful?
When I am angry I go for a stroll for a couple of minutes, it keeps me cool.
 
What is easy home work or office work, and why?
Both are difficult.
 
Who is your role model and why?
Kiran Bedi. She is a good administrator.
 
What are the qualities of a good woman?
She has patience and endurance to face the situations bravely. Therefore the proverb, ‘There is a woman behind every successful man.’
 
Life is…
It is a bed of roses if you think positively or else it’s black with negativity.
