Amit Shah's Spectrum Scan bagged an Award too. Shah says, "Our entry in the Poster category, Eon, is screen printed reverse on 500 micron PC sheet with 12 colours including mirror ink. Over it four different UV varnishes are used to create dazzling patterns."
Indian companies bagged 10 awards, with Ahmedabad-based Marvel Graphic Studio clinching three of them. Marvel won a Silver in the category, ‘Original Serigraphies and Giclées’, a Bronze in the category ‘Fine Art’ and another Bronze in the category ‘Posters, single sheets & multi-sheets’

Vehicle graphics on the road to success
Banners (49%), posters (40%), signs (38%) and billboards (37%) remain the top four products. A dramatic growth being experienced is in textiles for garments, textiles for décor and packaging samples, with close to 80% reporting an increase in demand for these applications

Amit Shah of Spectrum Scan a regular at Fespa says, the digital show in Cologne is bigger than the London edition what with a huge emphasis and development in textile and garment printing. Shah adds, dye sublimation and UV inkjet are the preferred technology for this application.
