LMAI finds its mojo in Jaipur

Label Manufacturers Association of India, (LMAI), the apex body of label printers turned 13 on 16 July 2015. At the LMAI Conference, which started yesterday, 450 registered delegates were in attendance.

A sense that one gets here is that all eyes are on India India, which is the second largest market for equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the label segment

More than 450 delegates have registered to attend the conference

Guraraj Ballawad, chairman of the conference committee and RL Deshpande, with other committee members inaugurated the third conference in Jaipur. The three-day conference will end on 18 July

Vivek Kapoor, president, LMAI during his inaugural speech. Kapoor said, "LMAI has two agendas; one to challenge and break out of typical paradigm and two, to increase the bonding in the label fraternity."

In his keynote address, Jitesh Mehta of Avery Dennison, said, "Emerging technologies are creating disruption around the world. Label industry is at the cusp of change."
