Pamex will be held from 9-12 December 2015. Top print equipment manufacturers will showcase a range of products. Ahead of the show, AIFMP hosted several roadshows across Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and other parts of India, to enable printers to leverage the prospects in the packaging and converting segments as 300+ print companies exhibit their wares

Canon India, is the third biggest exhibitor at the show. Canon is expected to showcase the ImagePress C8000VP, C10000VP and the Océ VarioPrint i300 sheetfed inkjet press. The Océ VarioPrint i300 prints up to 294 (letter) images per minute. The C8000VP can print at 80 (letter) images per minute and C10000VP at 10000 at (letter) images per minute
For the first time, EFI will showcase its EPS/MIS software which include EFI Radius, DirectSmile, DSF (Digital StoreFront) and Pace. Also on show will be EFI’ Matan industrial three-meter superwide roll-to-roll and hybrid printer and the EFI H1625 LED-curing wide-format printer and EFI’s flagship Fiery
HP India, with 495 sq/ft space is the biggest exhibitor at the show, as of now. For the first time in India, HP will have on display the HP Indigo 10000 press. The press has a maximum sheet size of 750x530mm, prints up to seven colours and has a monthly duty cycle of 2m sheets.
Line O Matic will showcase its new Bolt RB 104. With a speed of 500 metres per minute with 60 strokes per minute, the machine can convert up to 20-22 tonne of paper in a day, depending on the grammage.
Monotech Systems has planned to launch a few products at Pamex, while showcasing its popular line of representative products like Scodix, Focus Label’s flexo label presses, and 3D printers. Also seen will be its Jetsci, which has seen close to 35 systems installed at more than 20 customer sites
Ricoh India’s focus at the second biggest stand at the show will be on its new kit Pro C9100 series and the Pro C7100x, the white and clear toner press launched late last year at the Eastern Printpack in Kolkata; and the new Geljet print head. Watchout for the 3D printer
At the TechNova stand see Azura TU and Azura TE Thermal plates and VioGreen Plus Violet plates, a series of fount solution concentrates, Konica Minolta’s C1060 digital production press and other offerings, the Duplo 646 cutting, creasing, slitting device and Agfa’s workflow solutions
Welbound Worldwide combined with Henkel and Nordson will demonstrate PUR binding machines, and a range of post-press binding machines
Autoprint’s Repetto 65 V2, the 1520 Colt with VDP attachment, the Dion 450+, and the Checkmate 50, among others will be on display. In the picture: The Checkmate 50 at Bhiwandi-based Paramount Arts and Prints
According to Insight Communications, Komori will be the only manufacturer to display a press at the show
Srinivas Papers will introduce Polyart, Arjobex’s range of synthetic papers and Arjobex’s expanded range of IML product offering, Polyart IML HD to the Indian market. On display will also be Paper Tyger, a specialised laminated substrate and HB Fuller high-performance adhesives
Zhongke, a Chinese company will use Pamex to launch its Indian JV, Zongke India, and will display its complete range of case makers, rigid box makers, lamination and grooving machines
The Pamex roadshows campaign began with the first in Nashik on 9 October 2015. Tushar Dhote, co-chairman of Pamex and managing director of Dhote Offset Technokrafts curated the roadshows in coordination with the local association

After the Nanded roadshow, Tushar Dhote said, “I have a feeling that the real progress of print and its future is in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities like Nanded.”
The idea of the Pamex team was to reach out to small cities like Nanded, and enlighten the printers as well as share information on modern technologies
