Picture Gallery: China Print 2013
Described as the Drupa of Asia, the eighth edition of the China Print registered more than 55,000 visitors on the opening day. The show was spread across 19 halls covering 1,60,000 sq/m area with more than 1,300 participating companies and 28 participating countries in Beijing from 14 to 18 May 2013.

Themed as ‘being green, effective, digitalised and intelligent, China Print 2013 was spread across 19 halls covering 1,60,000 sq/m area. The five-day show crossed a footfall of 1,80,000 visitors
S L Kulkarni of SLKCG with the newly launched Magnum Compact, a 2x1 press for the production of newspapers, books and semi-commercial publications. The four-high tower of this press is only 2.1m in height, making it suitable for players with limited space
Manroland highlighted the Roland 700 HiPrint six-colour plus coater with live demonstrations. Sascha Ehrenberg, sales manager, Manroland Sheetfed, said, “The combination machine enables the user to cater to conventional as well as UV jobs”
KBA presented a raft of presses on its 1,050 sq/m stand under the banner ‘sprinting ahead’. The company received more than ten contracts on the first day of the show
Komori booked more than 120 offset printing machines at the show out of which six machines will be commissioned to India. Themed as ‘Komori OnDemand’, the company's stall hosted demonstrations of its presses
The highlights of Heidelberg's stand were high productivity through lean production processes, coating and special effects in packaging printing, web-to-print, and green printing
Nuova Gidue launched its new M3 digital flexo press at the show. According to the company, digital flexo technology assures a digital set-up waste of less than 10 metres on an eight-colour job and digitally predictable costs/profits

Suba's C Naresh represented Eterna's Brausse post-press machines at the show. In last couple of years, Suba has installed 20 die-cutters including 3 foil stamping machines and 20 folder-gluers in India
Ahmedabad-based manufacturer of exercise book making machines Line O Matic opted for a catalogue show. Mukesh Sonani(r): "Our presence at China Print will enable us to position our firm in the Chinese and South Asian market"
Technotrans' theme of the show was "profitable print - same turnover, more profit". Among the highlights on display at the company's stand was automated central ink supply for offset presses; spray dampening technology for newspaper printing; semi-automatic ink.dos ink dosing system among others
