Labelexpo India 2014, the most anticipated trade show for the labeling industry in India, which promises to come ‘alive with technology’, was formally inaugurated at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 29 October, in the presence of representatives from the Indian label industry

The Indo-German joint venture BST Sayona, one of the leaders in the web inspection systems market, is exhibiting its butt splicer technology with the Splicemaster along with Shark LEX 1000 (Defect inspection system) and Powerscope (Video inspection system)

Avery Dennison showcased reclosure labels at its stall. A reclosure label seals labels with pack many times. Number of resealing depends on the number of wet issues in the pack. Since the wet tissues are dipped in alcohol and other chemicals, these resealing labels ensure that those wet labels will not dry by air. Avery Dennison has used in-house adhesive R1490 to fix the label every time on the pack
