Speaking to PrintWeek India, S Dayaker Reddy of Sai Enterprises, said, “In recent past there has been more traction towards packaging and now-a-days visibility in packaging is a preferred choice to attract the potential customer for brand owners. With an objective to provide a more viable solution to Asian packaging converters HPM has launched WPM 650.”

The machine patches the pre-cut plastic sheets to individual die-cut carton blanks accurately and can handle paperboard cartons from 250gsm to 700gsm as well as corrugated cartons.

According to Reddy, the machine is available for Indian buyers as there is a great demand for window-cartons in the market and the machine is an economical solution. Sai Enterprises will take care of the after sales service of the machines. “We already have our service centres in Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru with trained engineers who are capable of providing prompt service,” added Reddy.

Besides WPM 650 the company also enhanced the automation level of its flagship paper cutting machine by introducing stack lift, jogger, and unlaoder to the existing cutting machine.

Sai Enterprises has installed 150 paper cutting machines in last four years, key customers being Kala Jyothi, Caxton, Aravali Printers. “Excellent after sales services has been the key to our success. Apart from India, we sell these machines in Gulf and Africa with our office and service team in Kenya,” added Reddy.

As an advice to Indian printers visiting China Print, Reddy said, “Chinese machines are worth investing if one is able to identify the manufacturer who can provide a good after sales service.”
