​KDX dry lamination kit installed at Saptagiri

Saptagiri Packaging specialises in blister back up card, printed mono cartons, metalised / liner/ E flute cartons for consumer products, food, beverages, pharmaceutical, tobacco, garments and electrical sectors.  The latest KDX lamination machine is expected to help Saptagiri with all kinds of films like PET, BOPP, PVC, metalised polyester on both paper and board. 

The KMM-1050D lamination machine runs at an average speed of 80-90 m/min is said to have a hot knife ‘European technology for MetPet films with accuracy of +/-1.5mm. It can produce with lamination film thickness of 10-40 microns on paper grammage ranging from 100-450 gsm.

SGS which is a joint venture between Daya and Sodhisons, have thus far completed six installations of KDX Dry Lamination machines since their launch in February 2017.

"2018 has started really well for us in terms of the KDX lamination machines. We have completed two installations and look to close at least six more deals in the coming months," said Rakesh Sodhi of SGS.

"Apart from Saptagiri Packaging, we have also installed the machine at Miracle in Jaipur, Dimple Packaging in Ludhiana, Deep Print in Ahmedabad, Saroj Prints in Chennai and Lynx in Noida," added Sodhi.

SGS also represents Rogler MIS software from Austria, which is successfully running at Concord, Vadodara.

Last month, a special open house was organised at Hotel Sayaji, Vadodara, to promote advantages of the Rogler MIS software. Keynote speakers were Hannes Rogler, CEO and Beatrix Blab, CFO of Rogler International, along with Arshad Menon and Kayyum Menon of Concord Printing (Pravin Printing), Vadodara.

"We have received tremendous response from leading printers of Vadodara who attended the open house and were provided in-depth knowledge about the advantages of Rogler MIS software with respect to planning, monitoring, production scheduling, costing, stock management, invoicing, ganging", said Sonal Sheth of Daya Sheth Printograph.

Further, SGS, has also installed four cartons stripping machines post-Pamex 2017, three in Mumbai at Rukson Packaging, Orient Press, Forum Print and one at Lynx, Noida.
