During the last Media Expo held in Mumbai in February, Epson demonstrated the working of Epson Stylus Pro 9860 and at the Ecobuild show in Mumbai, the company also launched the latest in its series of large format printers, the Epson SureColor T-series.
Though Epson has not specified, which of the products it will be showcasing at the show, the ones shown in Mumbai are expected to be part of the display.
The Stylus Pro 9860 has seen multiple installations recently and according to Rajjimon Raghavan, area head, CBU West for Epson India, the machine is ideally suited for indoor, POP, posters, commercial photo printing and copy-shops.
SureColor T7070 has been designed for engineering scientific applications, CAD documents and architectural design. The machine can produce 110 D-sized plots per hour and has a print resolution up to 2880 x 1440 dpi. According to Raghavan, the accurate dot placement and shape ensures the highest print quality which is extremely useful especially for CAD and architectural documents. “We see huge potential in this market and Epson has a fantastic offering which guarantees Epson’s typical superior print quality.”
Epson’s other imaging products including Dot-Matrix printers, Inkjet printers, Inkjet all-in-ones, point-of-sale printers, and LCD projectors.
