Launched at the PrintPack India 2013 show, Acuity LED 1600 will hold centre stage at the Fujifilm stall. Launched in September last year, LED 1600 is targeted at those players who do indoor signages and value-addition like in-store branding, where the displays can be seen from close quarters like displays, signs, labels, stickers, wallpaper and window graphics. “. It would be appropriate for someone who caters to food malls or even Cafe Coffee Day, where you need catchy images to entice the customers to buy the products,” said Padmakar Ojale, vice president at Fujifilm India. He added, “The machine can also be useful in the packaging segment. It can offer clients pack mock-ups without requiring them to commit to an expensive offset run.”
The Acuity LED 1600 is capable of printing at a speed of 20 sqm per hour on a wide range of media of up to 13mm thick using high-speed inkjet print head and high sensitivity UV ink among others. Fujifilm’s Acuity UV range of printers offers the latest breakthrough in wide format digital imaging technology. According to last report, Fuji has installed one LED 1600 at CIC Vision in New Delhi.
Besides the LED 1600, Fujifilm is expected to showcase Acuity UV range of printers, including, the HD4004 and 4224; and HD4006 and 4226, which were launched late last year in UK.
