Sain Packaging wins Packaging Converter of the Year (Pharma)

The company’s website has a director’s desk, which quotes Steve Jobs. “Packaging can be a theatre, it can create a story”. Rightly said. Sain Packaging says, it is one such theatre that creates beautiful stories for its clients.

The Tetmitas carton, with its metPET printing and hybrid texture UV, is a visual marvel, elevating it from mere packaging to artwork. So do the other three – Buron-I-Kem, Progesterone-Cox and Ketodila CT samples.

The pre-press was done using Art Pro, Artios CAD, Apogee and Adobe Illustrator, while the printing was done on Heidelberg CS-92, five-colour plus coater press and Manroland Evolution Elite 707 3BLV hybrid press using Cyber XL and Pearl xl 320-gsm paperboard. The cartons were embellished with drip-off texture UV, UV gloss, lamination MetPET gold, aqueous gloss varnish, UV spot screen, matt varnish, silver hot foil stamping and embossing effects.

The run length ranged from 20,000 to 2,50,000 cartons. The jury was unanimous in its decision. “The cartons had beautiful and interesting designs, crafted with care and a well-balanced use of colour and text.”
