PrintWeek Awards 2024: Unidos Exports wins POS / POP Printer of the Year (Joint Winner)

The highlight of all the four standing display units Unidos submitted was that they are lightweight, can be shipped flat in a box, assembled quickly with special skills, and can bear a reasonable amount of weight.

For the mini floor-standing display for Parachute Oil, the client wanted a display that could be deployed at smaller retail shops where there are space constraints. They wanted an economical and moveable display. Unidos created a compact, premium-looking display printed digitally on 100% recyclable PP flute board with HP Latex digitally printed vinyl. 300 units were produced.  

The unit for Saffola was digitally printed using eco-friendly HP Latex inks. Gloss lamination was used to prolong the unit’s life and give it an attractive feel. Unidos says since the unit weighs 80% less than a standard medium-density fibreboard display unit, it saves logistics and implementation costs. 100 units were produced.  

For the display of Sugar Cosmetics, the client wanted a setup that could be used on roads or footpaths of tier-2 cities to display the product. It was printed digitally on a 100% recyclable PP flute board with HP Latex digitally printed vinyl. Matte lamination was used to prolong the life of the unit and also to give it a premium finish. Due to its ease of transport and assembly, Unidos could install all 50 units produced, across the country, in 14 days.

Colgate-Palmolive wanted a PVC-free, two-sided standing display unit to showcase their toothpaste and hang their toothbrushes on the side wall. Unidos printed it digitally on a 100% recyclable PP flute board with HP Latex digitally printed vinyl. Also, the metallic silver foil on the unit’s header was integrated seamlessly. The peg hooks of the unit are adjustable to accommodate new SKUs. 1,200 units were produced.
