In-Store Asia 2016 showcases the latest in retail
The 10th edition of In-Store Asia, the country’s largest event for retail experience, design, shopper marketing and solution providers, opened its doors on 4 August 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The show is on until 6 August 2016.

The guest of honour Venu Nair, managing director, Marks & Spencer’s Reliance, special guest, Elke Moebius, head Euroshop, Thomas Schlitt, managing director, MDI, Gagan Gandhi, director, Retails and Vasant Jante, founder and managing director, VJ Media Works inaugurated the three-day event by lighting the traditional lamp.
Following the inauguration, Surender Gnanaolivu, senior consultant, Retail Experience and consulting editor VM&RD gave the welcome address.
In his welcome speech, Gnanaolivu pointed out the highlight of In-Store Asia 2016. “While the convention promises a diverse set of topics which will be covered over two days of the convention, the expo this year has over 95 exhibitors, covering an area of 45,000 sq/ft and has 20% international participation,” he said.
This year, for the first time, an app for In-Store Asia has been launched, to be in constant touch with the forum. The app is available for android phones.
The objective of In-Store Asia is to bring all key stakeholders of retail design and solution providers under one roof, giving them the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and forge business partnerships.
