Accent Electronics is an offshoot of Lakshmi Dial Industry which was founded by late D R Bharadwaj and was engaged in the manufacturing of dials for radio sets. Later, it diversified into manufacturing of industrial labels and stickers, thus paving way for Accent Electronics to gain foothold in the screen printing market.
Currently, Accent Electronics operates from a production facility of 3,300sq/ft that is located at Sahibabad in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
The company has installed three Grafica Camshell screen printing machines. Two of these are of size 30x40-inches whereas one is of size 20x30-inches. Apart from these machines it also has a complete screen making set up, besides all the pre-press and post-press facilities required for manufacturing industrial labels, stickers and for graphics screen printing including that of automobile decals.
Accent Electronics offers a range of product application labels and stickers. Its portfolio includes tactile domes, polyester membranes, polycarbonate labels, tamper proof labels, vinyl transfers, decals and displays and automobile decals.
Sandeep and Hemant Bharadwaj said, “We started with a manual screen printing and then when we decided to switch to automation we opted for a semi automatic screen printing machine from Grafica of size 22x28-inches. This investment in automation was a big boon for us and so we started adding a few more machines thereafter. Now, we have three Grafica Camshell screen printing machines.”
The Bharadwaj duo add, “Our new line of business consists of manufacturing decals for two-wheelers and four-wheelers in the automobile sector. We aspire to manufacture decals for cricket bats in the near future.”
Accent feels the growth segments are, “Home appliances and automobile are promising growth sectors. Over the years we have grown from 60% to 80% - both volume and revenue-wise. We have started exporting industrial stickers and labels to Nigeria, South Africa and Dubai."
