Speaking about this success at his maiden visit to the show, Vinay Chandak, director, Ace Industries said, “The visitors to our stall were surprised to see the technology and the value proposition that came with it. Caprilact was impressed with the technology and value for money that came with the machine.”

The linear Rota-Tunnel features a speed of up to 200 bottles per minute. Ace Industries has over 200 installations of shrink sleeve machines in India and a few abroad, however, as Chandak said, there were no active efforts to sell machines at a global level.

Chandak added, “Our participation at India pavilion in Interpack has helped us push to attempt for capturing a worldwide market. Since last six days, we are speaking to people who are interested to represent Ace in their countries. Thus we now have plans to actively increase our global footprint.”

Chandak feels that innovation is the buzzword today. He said, “There is a huge scope in Indian market, however, most of the Indian manufacturers do not possess a dedicated R&D team to generate ideas and produce innovative machines.”

Ace Industries is developing banding machines for end-of-the-line operations, which it will introduce to the market in next few months
